Logo and Graphic Design
Your business logo is a symbol that can provide consumers with instant and powerful brand recognition of your business and the services or products that you offer. It is one of the most vital and foundational parts of your branding efforts. A logo that accurately reflects your company's values and gives you the image of professionalism is imperative in today's business world. As business professionals ourselves, we know that the mission of your logo is to portray the values and goals of your company and we build that into each and every logo. Your new logo will reflect professionalism and growth no matter how big or small your company is and it will be something that you can be extremely proud of as you display it on your website, business cards, letterhead, e-mail signatures, promotional material, or wherever you decide to display it.
What's included?
Each logo purchase comes with three concepts*. Once you select your concept you are entitled to up to 3 revisions* on that concept.
*What are concepts and Revisions?
The logo design process involves two stages. The first stage is creating the concepts. Once the concepts are created and one is selected you begin the revisions to that particular concept.
- Concepts: After you give us an idea of what you would like your logo to look like we will create concepts which are design ideas that explore different directions that your logo could go. For example, Blue Mountain Cafe may have a logo concept where the dominating image is a mountain that is various shades of blue. That would be one concept. However, another concept might have show a "mountain" of blue colored coffee beans. This would be another concept.
- Revisions: The second of the two stages of the design process is the revisions stage. After choosing the concept that you want to go with you may submit revisions to that concept. In this stage things such as color, font type and direction, transparency etc. are tweaked by the concept and design remains the same.
Logo Types
Iconographic: Iconographic logos are logos that primarily contain an icon as the main logo. Think McDonalds, Apple, or Nike's check mark "swoosh".
Pictographic: Pictographic logos are logos that contain a computer drawn picture. See the "country life acres" logo below for an example.
Typographic: Typographic logos are logos that primarily contain font type as the main logo. Think SONY, EPSON, Google, or Yahoo!.
What does it cost?
The short answer: Between $550 and $700. This may be the most important $550 you ever spend. Having a professional logo displayed across all medium and points of contact with your clients, customers, leads, and prospects establishes you as a professional. The result is an increased perceived value, the ability to charge more money, and less hassles with your clients as they take you even more serious. The quality of your logo says a lot about both you and your company and is the foundation upon which all other marketing material, including your website, should be built.
